Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, employee job satisfaction has become one of the crucial aspects in effective human resource management. Job satisfaction not only reflects employee well-being but also influences productivity and the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to determine the partial effect of compensation and work-life balance on employee job satisfaction at the Regional Public Drinking Water Company (Perumdam) Tirta Bhakti Raharja, Majalengka Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive and verificative analysis with a quantitative approach, where data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees with a total population of 151 respondents. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling method. The measurement scale applied in this study is the Likert scale. The analytical tools employed include classical assumption tests, model feasibility tests (F-test), multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results show that compensation falls into the good category, work-life balance into the very good category, and job satisfaction also into the good category. Furthermore, the regression analysis results indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.
